OCADU Projects

This is a collage I did measuring 7ft high by 5ft wide.  It represents my battle with Dystonia.  The syringes are filled with gold representing the Botox injections I receive every three months in my neck, shoulders and back.  My dress is made up of all the medications I take for Dystonia.  For further information, check out my blog http://meandmydystonia-cathylynch.blogspot.com/.

Negative Space Project
Drawing Class - medium used Gouache
I drew the side garden at our house with the fountain, pear tree and rod iron gate in the background.  Then painted in the negative spaces using Gouache.  The painting measures 22" x 30"

Self Portrait in Charcoal.  Created by coating entire page in charcoal and using an eraser to create highlights and charcoal for contrast.

Small to Large.  The original object was 3 inches high.  Using pastels I drew it on a page measuring 29" x 36".

Below are drawings from Anatomy for Artists

I found pictures of dancers and drew their skeleton on top of the photograph.

I found a muscle magazine and drew the muscles on top of the photograph of the body builder.

I drew a fairy and then added her muscle structure.

We went to the Medical Sciences Building at University of Toronto and drew various bones from their museum.
